Job Summary:
The Senior Executive – Modern Trade Operations will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end operations of the Modern Trade (MT) ecosystem. This role requires a strong understanding of MT functions, ensuring seamless execution of Purchase Orders (POs), and tracking key performance metrics to drive business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Modern Trade Ecosystem Understanding: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the MT landscape, its key stakeholders, and its impact on overall business operations.
PO Process & Tracking: Ensure a smooth process from PO receipt to final delivery, ensuring timely execution and issue resolution.
End-to-End PO Tracking: Monitor and track POs until successful delivery, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve delays or issues.
Daily Reports & Metrics: Generate and maintain key reports such as ASM-wise, Account-wise, and Brand-wise Target vs. Achievement (TGT vs ACH) trackers.
NPI Tracking: Oversee the tracking of New Product Introductions (NPIs) within the Modern Trade channel.
PO Sharing & Coordination: Collaborate with CFAs, ASMs, and RKAMs to ensure accurate and timely sharing of POs.
Appointment & Non-Appointment PO Process: Handle PO execution for both appointment-based and non-appointment accounts, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to optimize Modern Trade operations and resolve any bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Modern Trade operations, preferably in FMCG or Retail.
Strong understanding of PO processes, tracking mechanisms, and key performance metrics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
