Role Overview:
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager – Finance to support financial planning, analysis, and control across business functions. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, and business performance dashboards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Costing & Margin Analysis:
- Conduct detailed product costing and margin analysis for SKUs.
- Monitor input cost trends and support pricing decisions.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Finance:
- Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement to optimize working capital.
- Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Support statutory, internal, and cost audits.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in financial processes and recommend improvements for accuracy and speed.
- Implement financial controls and automation tools wherever feasible.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years in FP&A / Costing / Business Finance (preferably in FMCG, D2C, or Manufacturing)
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems: Tally
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
